A British novelist who served with the 1st Battalion, The Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire in the 1970s, and draws on that experience in his military fiction. He writes the Harker & Carter novels, the Eleanor & Sophie Vasey thrillers, and the Danny Kerr thrillers, and 'The Gentle End of the World' is his first standalone work of literary science fiction.
